The deck has been shuffled. What cards did you draw? Which will you discard? How will you play the hand you have been dealt?
Choices have been made that are reshaping our destinies. Things we thought were certain have become teachers of impermanence. Dreams we thought were dead have been resurrected.
You know some of my personal journey, and I am familiar with some of yours. Many of us are in the midst of major upheavals and shifts.
In meditation, the words that keep coming to me are “timeline adaptation” and “shuffling the deck.”
Trump’s victory, love him or hate him, is accelerating the evolution of consciousness. His Presidency will be one of the most transformational of our lifetimes. He is a polarizing figure. Is he a savior or a destroyer? A Christ or Antichrist?
It depends upon the eyes of the beholder. Personally, I think he is an ideological vacuum motivated primarily by narrow self-interest. That will make a lot of you angry. So I will add that he may also be the crude instrument needed to destroy the world of illusion built by Empire.
We live in extraordinary times. It is a time of reckoning, when our collective and individual shadows are being brought into the light.
It is Armageddon, and the battle is well underway. Many don’t like that language. But less provocative words would be misleading.
Each of us is being called to serve in proportion to our willingness and ability to be of service. No two types of service are alike, and the significance of one’s actions cannot be judged by their external manifestations.
The mother who cares for her children is as much of a hero as the soldier on the battlefield. Simple lives of humble service can be just as significant as heroic acts played out on the public stage.
My own peculiar form of service is invisible to most and will be misunderstood by many. Yet it is my work to do, and life has frankly given me no other choice. My request for reassignment was revoked, and I have been stripped of every other option.
I spent the last month in relative isolation, fasting, praying, meditating, and in ritual. It has been a period of intense purification. In order to serve, one must be fit for service. For me, that has meant confronting and healing the darkness of my own heart, and anchoring and embodying the highest frequency of unconditional love I can hold.
Anchored in love, I have been praying for guidance on how to proceed. The answers have come, and I have committed to obey.
This Friday I will fly from Asheville to Phoenix for a week, where I will visit a brother and spend time in Sedona. Sedona is a very sacred place to me, as it is for many people.
From there I will return to Asheville, to attend a five-day silent retreat with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the Art of Living Center in Boone, North Carolina.
This follows a similar pattern to when things fell apart at Bridge to One. Back then, Parker and I hosted our first Smiling Jaguar Retreat in Sedona a few months after we left Bridge to One, and in the fall I attended the first Love, Serve, Remember Summer Mountain Retreat at the Art of Living Center.
After the silent retreat, I will visit family in Kentucky for Christmas, before flying to Ecuador for ceremony at an ancient temple on New Years Eve. I'm not sure how long I will remain in Ecuador, but it will likely be anywhere from a week to an indefinite amount of time.
I don’t know what comes after that. I am truly operating on a need to know basis. All I know is that this is my path of pilgrimage and the gateway into 2025 lies through Ecuador.
Thank you for following my journey. I wish I could say I’ve increased the readership since taking over Parker’s newsletter. But the more I write, the more people I lose. I’m making peace with that. If 2024 has taught me anything, it is that not everyone is going to like your voice, but that you are still responsible for singing your songs, and that to walk in truth, you have to be willing to walk alone.
Some visions for 2025 have started to come in over the past month. I will resume the path of pilgrimage to Chavin next year, likely sometime in the summer. I am also being called to sacred sites in the United Kingdom, France, Rome, Greece, Egypt, Israel, India, and Tibet. I don’t know when I will go to these places. I may not make it to all of them next year. But I’m being called to go many places, and trust that when the time is right the path will appear.
RAMAKA KRIYA
Ramaka Kriya is universalist in that it honors the truth in all religions. It is tantric in that it views every human experience as an opportunity to learn, grow, and gain greater intimacy with God. In Ramaka Kriya we seek to live a life of skillful means through the righteous use of energy, and to bring ourselves into ever greater integrity with truth and love.
SATSANGS
Ramaka Kriya Satsangs are a co-created immersive that gathers kindred spirits to deepen self realization through the use of effective spiritual practices, song, and community. Satsang is a sacred occasion where we gather together to be in the company of truth. During a Ramaka Kriya Satsang you can expect to deepen your heart's capacity for love and your mind's absorption in meditative awareness. At the Satsang you will learn the Ramaka Kriya meditation practices, which involve the use of pranayama, mudras, and mantras to facilitate purification and opening of the subtle body to deepen meditative awareness and self realization.
I have begun traveling and teaching Ramaka Kriya to raise funds for Ramaka Temple. If you would like to sponsor an event please reach out.
